Yesterday evening I follow the events unfolding on the streets of Minsk in the tape, and they make me very upset, both in form and content, because you can protest, you can resist protests, but when it takes extremely cruel and boundless forms, except for disgust and this cannot cause indignation.

I don't like everything, from the simply incredibly cruel and boorish behavior of security officials who beat people for no reason, bully their fellow citizens, smash mirrors and windows of passing cars with batons, and just mock people, to the actions of the opposing side posting home addresses on the network police officers and their families, with a subtle hint: "Well, you yourself will guess what to do"

I never thought what would happen in Belarus. Although I know perfectly well the entire history of the modern Belarusian state from gaining independence, a very specific referendum in 1996 and its consequences ...

But I'm not talking about that now. I read the feed and see this post on Twitter.

I immediately thought, stop, what are these numbers. And after all, this is not some kind of pro-government resource, but a completely independent and liberal deputy from Yabloko. Deputy in Moscow Ramenki, member of the Yabloko party. Since 2011 he has been in the observation movement in Russia.

For him, I would also make an amendment of ten - fifteen percent, not personally, but if only ...

The first thought, where is 3% or 20% of Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko?

And the second, which logically follows from the first, where is 80% of Svetlana Georgievna Tikhanovskaya?

Yesterday evening, after my publications, I began to receive comments from ordinary Belarusian readers, who managed to break through the friendly and boorish chorus of ordinary bots on both sides, which differed slightly from the opinions of Alexander Lukashenko's opponents both in their position and in a calm, I would say modest, manner communication. They answered the truth in the traditional style.

And then I turned to the original source. Stunning Sergey Shpilkin. Analyst and mathematician. He has worked more than once with our Russian elections.

Read, think, analyze, there are many interesting things from both an emotional and a purely mathematical point of view.

I'm just summarizing.

The early voting was real. from 25 to 27% !!! You can't get away from this.

Yes, not 32.5%, as Lukashenka's opponents said, but it was !!! And really on a large scale. Dear ones, in a country where state ownership of the means of production, where enterprises have party organizers, deputy directors for ideology - this is understandable. This is not clear to the creakles and the new generation in Russia and Ukraine, and in Europe it cannot be explained without a bottle of Zubrovka, but this is a subjective reality that has turned into such a result in Belarus.

Now about the voting itself, here is one of the comments.

And there is also a catch, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya urged her supporters to vote at the end of the day ... And in some polling stations people simply did not have time to vote. But again, this was not determinative.

The conclusion from all these figures is unambiguous - I will be extremely correct, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya did not win for a clear advantage, she did not win it at all ... And if she did, then only moral.

I will also emphasize that the sites are different. In Moscow, at our site on Belorusskaya, where I vote, Yabloko always won, and once the Union of Right Forces, for which, by the way, I then voted for, never gained even a meager percentage of the Liberal Democratic Party, and the EDRO trailed in the wake of the Communist Party, all the same we have many veterans and what kind. With us, Vladimir Putin never got to 50%, and Sobyanin, in my opinion, didn't even get to 20% ... But this does not mean that they voted in this way in Bryansk, Irkutsk, Vladivostok or Biryulyovo. So in Belarus, it is necessary to make allowances for the advanced Minsk and Brest and rural areas.

I also live outside the city. Moscow region Cottage village ...

Many residents, different houses, from relatively modest to luxurious mansions, most of the residents are registered and vote here at the local school.

How many percent of votes do you think Vladimir Vladimirovich gets from us? I assure you, there are no falsifications at all, we all know each other. 75% !!! With EDROM, things are worse, but there are 50%, or rather it was, everything is already on the campaign ... And the communists have 30%, and Apple is on the verge of error, there are plenty of apples here.

This I mean that you do not have to live with illusions. Very often, one's own belief that the picture is this way leads to mistakes, and, as a result, to disappointment and tragedy. I understand the indignation of people who believe that the elections were stolen from them, and their candidate won by a huge margin. That the current president usurps power with a score of twenty percent ... He is probably usurping, but the result is obvious, more precisely on the screen. Yes, they overdid it, but disgusting things ... But no matter how sad some of this might be, Alexander Lukashenko gained more than 50%. I'm sure he knows the real numbers, that's why such actions.

We must clearly realize that Belarus is split, probably after the actions of the authorities and their opponents, even stronger, but at least 50% of the population is on the side of the President, moreover, these are their children in police and army uniforms on the streets of cities, every security official has a father , mother, brothers, sisters ... Well, not the children of businessmen, dissidents, scientists, writers, journalists, bloggers and doctors are chasing people on the streets of Minsk. They are also citizens of Belarus. And nowhere we can not get away from this.

I don’t know why Svetlana Tikhanovskaya didn’t immediately invite Alexander Lukashenko to meet and discuss the situation, I think it would be a reasonable proposal, no matter how the incumbent President reacted to it.

These are my thoughts this morning. Have a nice day, everyone.
