Virgin Galactic's first "space" tourist flight is scheduled to launch today at 4 p.m.
Company founder Richard Branson will be among the passengers.
The carrier plane will lift the spaceplane (the thing in the middle) to an altitude of 16 kilometers, after which it will take off on its own up to 80+ kilometers.

The word "space" is in quotes because internationally the limit of space is considered an altitude of 100 km, but NASA recognizes an altitude of 80 km.
The lack of altitude is criticized by Blue Origin, which was about to become the first space tourist by sending its owner Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, into space. That launch is already July 20.
Beginning in 2022, space tourism should become a regular feature, tickets from $250,000, hurry! 😄
