On the morning of Saturday, August 28, the Russian occupiers fired several times at the town of Avdiivka, near Donetsk, with heavy artillery. Both the positions of the Armed Forces and the civilian infrastructure came under attack.

According to her, the shelling began at about 6:20. Then about 25 mines from 120 mm caliber mortars arrived at the positions of the mechanized brigade on the outskirts.

It was under this shelling that a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a penetrating shrapnel wound, the press service of OTU Vostok reported.

The first shelling lasted until seven o'clock. There are no civilian victims.

Later, after 8:45, there were two more shellings from different directions (10 arrivals - on the one hand, 27 - on the other). The enemy fired 120-caliber, also used hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.

It is a blow on the area between a coke plant and an industrial zone.

At least one of the civilian buildings was destroyed. As of 11:00 a fire and a column of smoke could be seen in the house that came under fire.

Fire engines drive around the city. At the same time, civilians continue to walk the streets, shop at the bazaar, and so on.

Ukrzaliznytsia restricted trains to Pokrovsk until the situation stabilized.

The sounds of loud "knocking" and the operation of car alarms during the morning shelling were also recorded on video.

Бойовики збройних формувань Російської Федерації продовжують цинічно обстрілювати населені пункти, які знаходяться поблизу лінії розмежування.

Сьогодні, 28 серпня, російсько-окупаційні війська здійснили обстріл цивільної інфраструктури Авдіївки.

Окупанти стріляли із заборонених Мінськими домовленостями мінометів калібру 120 мм та артилерії калібру 122мм.

Внаслідок обстрілу пошкоджено об’єкти цивільної інфраструктури міста. Постраждалих серед місцевого населення немає.

Систематичні обстріли мирних населених пунктів із забороненої зброї, свідчать про явну зацікавленість ватажків окупаційної адміністрації РФ у подальшому загостренні конфлікту та свідоме небажання дотримуватися Мінських домовленостей щодо режиму припинення вогню, а також є порушенням міжнародного гуманітарного права, що несе пряму загрозу життю та здоров’ю цивільного населення, значну матеріальну шкоду місцевим жителям.

На обстріл російсько-окупаційних військ наші воїни надали адекватну відповідь, припинивши вогневу активність ворога.

За її даними, обстріл почався близько 6:20. Тоді по позиціях механізованої бригади на околиці прилетіло близько 25 мін із мінометів калібру 120 мм.

Саме під цим обстрілом отримав проникаюче осколкове поранення військовий ЗС України, про що повідомила пресслужба “ОТУ “Схід”.

Перший обстріл тривав до сьомої години. Серед цивільних постраждалих немає.

Надалі, після 8:45, відбулося ще два обстріли із різних напрямків (10 прильотів – з одного боку, 27 – з іншого). Ворог бив 120-м калібром, також застосував ручні протитанкові гранатомети.

Ідеться про удар по району між коксохімом і промзоною.

Принаймні одна з цивільних будівель зазнала руйнувань. Станом на 11:00 можна було побачити пожежу і стовп диму в домогосподарстві, що потрапило під обстріл.

По місту їздять пожежні машини. Водночас цивільні продовжують ходити вулицями, скуповуватися на базарі тощо.

“Укрзалізниця” обмежила рух потягів до Покровська до стабілізації ситуації.

Звуки сильного “гупання” і спрацювання автомобільних сигналізацій під час ранкового обстрілу зафіксовано також на відео.
