Vladimir Putin's obedient Hungarian six took part in Europe's energy blackmail

(https://zloy-odessit.livejournal.com/3636505.html)Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, while in Moscow and taking part in Russian Energy Week, said that the decision to cut gas supplies through Ukraine was due to Hungary's energy security. The Ukrainian route allegedly needs serious reconstruction, which has not been carried out.

Moreover, Péter Szijjártó said that politics and ideology should not mix with the energy sector, because otherwise it would cause problems similar to the gas crisis in Europe.

What can you say... The Hungarian Pole bent to his master very effectively and I am sure the master liked it. But flattery and flirtation with wagging tail is one thing, and the fact is quite another.

The fact is that there have been 7 major accidents and dozens of medium and small, if not hundreds, in the safe and reliable Russian gas transport system for less than 2021. During the same period, no major accidents affecting gas supplies to Europe occurred on the unreliable and requiring reconstruction route in Ukraine.

As for the energy crisis in Europe, in this case Peter Szijjártó was completely and utterly obsequious to Vladimir Putin, who just the day before blamed the current situation with the heating season in the EU exclusively on the Europeans.

It should be understood that in this case Peter Szijjártó is not just working off his silver coin - he is directly involved in the information attack of Russia on the EU in the framework of energy blackmail.

Just the other day in my article "Hungary - the weakest link of the European community (https://zloy-odessit.livejournal.com/3624009.html)" I once again raised the question of problems of internal and foreign policy of such EU member as Hungary that for years defends Russia's interests inside Europe. It defends not in the format of lobbyism by certain political forces or individual personalities, as in other EU countries, but as a whole, by the political vector of the whole country.

In its turn, the energy terrorism of Russia, which resulted in "gas" blackmail, shows that in the Kremlin they realize the fatal nature of their position but do not intend to retreat.

Vladimir Putin's personal speech at the Russian Energy Week forum was a vivid marker of this realization, because it was not Alexei Miller who was brought out in public, but the president himself, who is uncomfortable with this kind of speech, and who is much more comfortable in his bunker in Novo-Ogaryovo with his dogs.

And Putin was not just brought to the forefront of the forum, but in his words he brought to Europe the demands of the terrorist country of Russia: "The approval of NORD STREAM 2 will help reduce gas prices!"

Reasonable people immediately began to remind Vladimir Putin of the times when without Nord Stream 2 Russia was easily supplying Europe with over 200 billion cubic meters of gas per year. And this despite the fact that in the course of these supplies the entire potential of the Ukrainian GTS was not even used.

Vladimir Putin was also reminded that literally one year ago the key Dutch hub TTF was offering $49.26 per 1 thou cubic meter. In Belgium the price went down to $47.97 per 1 thou cubic meter. At that time when there was no artificial shortage created by Russia.

During the Russian Energy Week the position of Russia was not just weak - it was openly defeatist. And in this situation Russians urgently needed support, but not from within, from the court heads and directors of monopolies, but from among the international sixes. And Peter Szijjártó obligingly offered his hand.

But does the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry realize that he and his country's leadership lead Hungary into the growing darkness of misunderstanding on the part of the EU partners, reducing not only the degree of trust but also the basic perception of them as independent and unbiased.

Besides, the head of the Foreign Ministry should know that short-term gains are fraught with colossal losses in such multifaceted schemes. The history of Hungary is full of such episodes.
