Max Easton is a retired British agent. He has a beautiful family, and he has seemingly already forgotten about his past. But one day it bursts into his life with renewed force. Secret Power is a sharp plot series with two seasons. An entire team of writers and directors worked on it, including Matthew Parkhill (Jurassic Portal), and Robert Connolly (Stewardship, Poldark). In doing so, Matthew Parkhill served as both co-screenwriter and director. The first episodes premiered in the spring of 2018 in the United Kingdom, and in the summer of that year in the United States.

The role of the main character was played by actor Mark Strong, who has previously appeared in films about spies - Body of Lies, The Spy Game, Target Number One, etc. Interestingly, the original title of the series is Deep State.
