The Can You Explain channel spoke to Dmitry Rylov, the husband of Daria Trepova, who was detained for her involvement in yesterday's explosion (https://t.me/mozhemobyasnit/15015) at a cafe. Rylov said he condemns the terrorist attack in St Petersburg and is convinced his wife did not know about the bomb. "I believe Daria was set up and used by certain people for their own purposes. I am 100% sure that Daria did not know exactly what she was sneaking into the hall," Rylov insists.

According to her husband, he spoke with Daria after the events, and it was clear from her words that she was being set up: "Dasha and I communicated, she didn't reveal any details, but it was clear from the conversation that she was absolutely sure that the gift would contain some device that would 'gain access to the person' and would not likely be detected immediately, and probably never. But it certainly wasn't supposed to be a bomb," Trepova's husband added. 

Dmitry denied that his wife was acting on orders from FBK or structures affiliated with Navalny's team (as propagandists have started talking about).

Rylov confirmed that his wife was detained in the flat of his acquaintance, named Dmitriy Kasintsev: "I myself asked him to shelter Dasha, at a time when nothing was yet known about what had happened. He knew absolutely nothing and had nothing to do with what happened, and no one knows where he is now or what happened to him," Rylov said. Trepova's husband is looking for a lawyer for his wife.

Dmitry Rylov is a supporter of the Libertarian Party and is now in Georgia. He and his wife were detained at an anti-war rally in St Petersburg in February 2022 and received nine days of administrative arrest. Daria was given a day more at the time.
