Two days after the publicity and indignation in social networks, the president reacted with a demand to fire the official. The Cabinet did it . The order says: at Gogilashvili's own will.

"I am ashamed of my emotionality and intemperance, but I am not ashamed of the work we have done in more than two years," Gogilashvili wrote.

There is a release. And will there be responsibility? After the scandal at the checkpoint, "Censor.net" journalists found out: until 2010, Oleksandr Gogilashvili lived in Russia, in particular in Rostov-on-Don. In 1998, he was sentenced to 5 years for forging documents and fraud. Then he was an assistant to the current deputy of the Russian State Duma, in the past the famous boxer Mykola Valuev. And when he moved to Ukraine, he worked in the International Anti-Narcotics Association.

In autumn, "Suspilne" published an investigation. It says that the "International Anti-Narcotics Association" has a network of rehabilitation centers for drug addicts. But they do not treat people, but torture them and defraud them of housing.

"Our investigation showed that people were kidnapped, held and tortured there for money," says Kateryna Lyhoglyad, the author of the "Beat. Pray. Hold" investigation.

The author of the investigation believes that the structure in which Gogilashvili worked at the request of Minister Monastyrsky applied for state funding. But now publicity got in the way.

"I was very upset that there was no reaction from the authorities after our investigation and now I thought, 'well, what a sad suicide,'" jokes Kateryna.

Oleksandr Gogilashvili got a job at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in September 2019 - immediately to the post of Arsen Avakov's deputy. A reference from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dated at the beginning of 2019, is "walking" on the Internet, says blogger Karl Volokh. According to him, according to this document, Gogilashvili has close relations with drug addicts, receives from them information about drug dealers and bargains for immunity before the police.

"His public organization is actually engaged in crushing the circulation of narcotic substances. He demands money from certain people who are engaged in the sale of drugs and at the same time drains the law enforcement officers of others," the blogger explains.

And the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Office of the President allegedly knew about this, says blogger Karl Volokh, who received this data from a source in law enforcement agencies. He believes that Bankova turned a blind eye to both Gogilashvili's criminal record and his current citizenship of the aggressor country. Ex-deputy Borislav Bereza also received confirmation that the person involved in the scandal has a Russian passport.

"I was already informed by the SBU DKR that this information was included in the information they provided to the President's Office, and the President's Office knew that he had Russian citizenship," noted People's Deputy of the 8th convocation Borislav Bereza.

Oleksandr Gogilashvili's wife is Maria Levchenko. She is the personal assistant of the President of Ukraine. She, however, officially works at "Kvartal 95" LLC. And there he receives a salary. And it was this person, Maria Levchenko, who was present at the same meeting at which intelligence officers came in July 2020 to report to the president about the progress of the operation with the Wagnerites.

Presumably, it was after the marriage with Levchenko that the odious ex-officer was able to obtain Ukrainian citizenship. Photos on social networks show that Gogilashvili and Levchenko are friends of the president. This is a married couple and Volodymyr Zelenskyi at an event at the "International Anti-Narcotics Association" - the same one that appears in the investigation about the torture of people. The scandal was also discussed in the Verkhovna Rada.

The opposition also recalled "Wagnergate". He insists: Gogilashvili's wife, the president's assistant, must testify in this case. After all, not having access to state secrets, she heard top-secret information in a limited circle of people.

"The fact that the pseudo-TSK Bankova did not interrogate Levchenko or her husband once again proves the falsity of this "Wagnergate" investigation," emphasized Artur Gerasimov, co-chairman of the "EU" faction.

There are "moles" in the immediate circle of the president. People who work for Russia and leak secret information. Such a statement was made last month by Vasyl Burba, chief intelligence officer of the Ministry of Defense.
