Belarus has commenced the construction of camps to accommodate fighters from the "Wagner" private military company (PMC), according to reports from Russian media. Several camps are set to be established in Osypovychy, located in the Mogilev Region, approximately 200 kilometers from the Ukraine border.


"We are already hard at work today, with the goal of completing construction by tomorrow noon," a source informed "Verstka."


Spanning an area of 24,000 square meters, the camp will provide accommodation for up to eight thousand individuals.


Confirmation regarding the deployment of mercenaries to Belarus also came from relatives of Wagner group members. One individual, citing an acquaintance, revealed that divisions of the Wagner PMC remaining in Rostov-on-Don would be dispatched to Belarus. Another source mentioned that her husband, who was in Rostov, had informed her about the likely transfer to Belarus on Saturday but had not been in contact since. Additionally, three participants in relatives' group chats shared that they had received similar messages from their own family members.


On the evening of June 23, Evgeny Prigozhin, the owner of PMC "Wagner," publicly announced that Russian forces had targeted his mercenaries' rear camps with missile strikes and vowed a "response." The Russian Ministry of Defense denied his claims.

Camps for the accommodation of the fighters of the "Wagner" PPC have already begun to be built in Belarus. This is reported by Russian mass media.

Several camps will soon appear in Osypovychy, Mogilev Region, 200 km from the border with Ukraine. 

"We are working, we are already working today. The task is to build tomorrow by noon," said the interlocutor of "Verstka".

The area of ​​the camp will be 24 thousand m², it will be designed for eight thousand beds.

The information that the mercenaries will be sent to Belarus is also confirmed by the relatives of the members of the Wagner group. One of the relatives, referring to her acquaintance, informed that the divisions of the "Wagner" PVC, which remained in Rostov-on-Don, will be sent to Belarus. Another interlocutor of the publication said that her husband, who was in Rostov on Saturday, informed her about the shipment to Belarus "most likely", but did not contact her again. Also, three participants in relatives' chats reported that they received similar messages from relatives.

It will be recalled that on the evening of June 23, the owner of PMC "Wagner" Evgeny Prigozhin publicly stated that Russian troops had hit the rear camps of his mercenaries with missiles, and promised a "response". The Ministry of Defense of Russia denied his words.

Subsequently, the president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, reacted to the events. He called Prigozhin's actions "a blow to the back of the country and the people" and said that the Russian army had already received an order to "neutralize the rebels."

According to  the press service  of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko held talks with Prigozhin, and he allegedly accepted the proposal to stop the movement of the "Wagnerians" on the territory of Russia.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin  thanked  Lukashenka for the "work done".

The Kremlin announced that they are stopping the criminal proceedings against Yevgeny Prigozhin, "PMK Wagner", and Prigozhin himself will go to Belarus. 


The president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, subsequently addressed the situation, condemning Prigozhin's actions as a "stab in the back" to the nation and its people. He stated that the Russian military had been ordered to "neutralize the rebels."


According to the press service of self-proclaimed Belarusian President Oleksandr Lukashenko, he engaged in talks with Prigozhin, who purportedly accepted a proposal to halt the movement of "Wagnerians" within Russian territory.


Russian dictator Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Lukashenko for the "accomplished work."


The Kremlin announced the termination of criminal proceedings against Yevgeny Prigozhin, "PMC Wagner," with Prigozhin himself set to travel to Belarus.
