The Ukrainian MTR, in its  “updated” report , claims that as a result of the attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, another 105 Russian soldiers were injured, and the headquarters building “cannot be restored.”

On Monday, occupation authorities in Sevastopol reported several “controlled explosions” in the headquarters building to “collapse emergency structures.”

The day after the attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said that the attack killed at least 9 people and injured 16 people, including Russian generals. He said this   in a comment to the Ukrainian service of the Voice of America. Budanov then did not confirm the information about the death of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Viktor Sokolov.

The Ukrainian General Staff, in turn , reported that Ukrainian forces struck during a meeting of the command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The General Staff noted that the operation called “Crab Trap” was carried out by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Special Operations Forces. “The details of the [operation] will become known when it is possible, and the result will be dozens of dead and wounded occupiers, including the senior leadership of the fleet,” said the publication of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Russian Ministry of Defense first reported that one serviceman was killed during an attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, and then stated that he was missing.

The British TV channel Sky News, citing a source in the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces , reported that the attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was carried out by Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles. The UK confirmed the delivery of Storm Shadow missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in May of this year, and France  announced the delivery of their SCALP counterpart to Ukraine in July.

Ukrainian special operations forces also reported that the September 13 attack on the Sevastopol ship repair yard, which damaged the large landing ship Minsk, resulted in 62 “irretrievable casualties” among Russian military personnel.
