Recipe for treating stuck publications on Bastion.

All your publications must be recorded in the blockchain, for this they need to get into the MemPool of Bastion nodes. But there are situations - that for some reason (network failure / network consensus failure) or other errors, recording fails. And then your publication remains hanging with the inscription “Publication awaits confirmation in the blockchain.” A record of this publication is only available in the local cache of your device. In this article we will look at the question - how to clear the local cache.

ATTENTION! Before deleting the local cache, be sure to save your account key (12 words)! If you lose it, no one will restore it to you! Save your account key!

For different OS - slightly different instructions:-

Browsers:-

To clear caches and cookies in your browser, click on the sign next to the site address (attachment).

In the menu that opens, look for “Cookies and site data” and clear it there. Reload the browser page using the F5 key and log in using your account key.

PC Application:-

To clear the local cache in the Bastion application, on your keyboard, press simultaneously three keys “CTRL” + “SHIFT” + “i”. Your console will open.

In the top line, click on the “double arrow (1)”, then select item (2) “Application”

Select "Storage" (3) and press the "Clear site data" button (4)

Reload the application page using the F5 key and log in using your account key.

Android App:-

Uninstall the application and install from scratch. You can install the version of the application from Bastion - it can be updated without the play market.
